"Growing Sustainably" Report

This evening, Monday February 4th, the participants of the 2007 Environmental Summit (including BikeAthens) will present their report, Growing Sustainably in Athens-Clarke County V, at the Federation of Neighborhoods monthly meeting, 7:30 pm, Presbyterian Student Center.
The Growing Sustainably V report is the joint effort of 18 local environmentally-concerned citizens' organizations. It is a progress report with recommendations, designed specifically to assist the Mayor and Commission in making informed decisions about growth and development issues in our community. There will be a panel of participants discussing some of the major environmental accomplishments of 2007 and the issues that will have the highest priority for 2008 action.
